Engagement Season is here! by Wedding Photographer Darcy Ferris.

Engagement season is here! It's that time of year (typically Christmas through Valentine's Day) when LOTS of couples get engaged. My heart swoons during this time of year. The actual wedding season soon follows. Do you know someone who is getting engaged or has become engaged? If yes, then break out the bubbly and raise your glasses with a huge toast.

I LOVE the electricity that a newly engaged bride conveys. Those are the brides that I truly enjoy collaborating with to make their wedding vision come true. It's so much fun to sit down with a couple, hear their engagement story and how we can work together. If you are already married or recently married, you are a very valuable resource to your newly engaged friends. You can guide them on the do's and the don'ts. The I should haves and should not haves.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I am more than happy to guide you towards wedding vendors I have worked with in the past. I want you to have the most extraordinary day of your lives!

You can reach out to me via the "Let's Meet" tab to set up your consultation. I am looking forward to learning about your love story.

There were a few key elements I wanted my wedding photography booth to have. I reached out to some great local artists including a baker, florist, and calligrapher. You can find their information below.

If you need a wedding photographer, I would love to fall in love with all the details of your big day. Contact me and we'll set up a time.

Adam + Beth at Westminster Church Wedding and The Bell Tower

Adam + Beth met at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. They are two of the sweetest souls. The day began at the modern downtown Nashville venue, The Bell Tower. Adam + Beth had a shuttle take them and their bridal party to their favorite spots for their wedding photos. The first stop was Vanderbilt University where the football field manager just happened to be walking by while we were shooting photos. He asked if everyone would like to do photos on the Vanderbilt football field. You can only imagine how excited Beth was since she was a Vandy cheerleader! After all the excitement at Vandy, we headed to another Nashville icon, The Parthenon. Then we headed to the gorgeous Westminster Presbyterian Church for their late afternoon ceremony. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
